Our founder hails from a quaint little town in Sicily. Growing up amidst the olive groves and vineyards, he developed a deep love for food and the magic it creates in bringing people together. His dream was to carry the culinary traditions of his homeland across the seas and share it with the heart of Sheffield.

That dream materialised into Casanova. The name is a tribute to the legendary Italian adventurer and author, Giacomo Casanova, whose love for life, people, and food resonates with the ethos of our restaurant.
